The Isle of Man FA Cup headed to the North of the Island this year as Ayre United beat Laxey 5-3 to ensure the minimum two trophies head to Andreas this season! The game was a fascinating encounter, with the Tangerines having to battle back from an early 3-1 deficit to get back to 3-3 just before half time. The game was a feisty affair, with two players from Laxey being sin-binned for dissent as they attempted to regain their lead. However, the constant pressure from the league leaders proved to be too much, with two goals early in the second half ensuring that the FA Cup was draped in orange and black.
ECAP Directors Daniel Collier and Brook Longhurst were at 'The Bowl' to watch this entertaining final and present the MOTM and tournament trophy after the game.
